The Howling IV: The Original Nightmare

"The Howling IV: The Original Nightmare" is not quite the original first movie "The Howling" but also similar. It's still also based on the novel "The Howling" by Gary Bradner. It was quite typical 80's cheese with indirect comedy. The main heroine, Marie, is frail, sees visions and hears howling. She's always dressed in white as always Damsels in Distress are. There is her handsome macho husband with a mullet hairstyle who secretly visits a stunningly beautiful witch called Elaenor. Watching elderly werewolves is quite hilarious. The unecessary gore, the poor dog, nuns, creepy townsfolk, creepy sheriff, creepy forest, creepy howling and ghosts. The best scene was the bell tower.
I rate this movie a good 6/10.
