Canines and COVID-19 info

There is a detailed Question and Answer page posted on International Wolf Centre website about canines and the coronavirus or COVID-19. I wanted to share the link because it also concerns dogs. You may want to read it. Click on the link to have a look.

Also read FAQs about the coronavirus and dog owners at The Kennel Club website.
Dogs and coronavirus FAQ

On this subject, the United Kingdom is training dogs to find COVID-19. This means dogs able to detect the virus in someone even if they don't have the symptoms. Dogs have been trained to find other diseases like cancer and malaria. I hope this medical project works.

These are just a few details I had to quickly post.
Stay well and healthy.

Ghosts during lockdown

As we're living under the threat of COVID-19, countries all over the world have lockdowns and wild animals are on the streets. It also seems weird that now we're sort of experiencing our very own Long Night. Not only have the beasts of the forests taken over the cities and towns, but supernatural activities have increased.
There are scary sightings of ghosts that are making people too scared to go out so they remain under quarantine. Some of these ghosts are actually humans dressed up.
In the village of Odisha, India, is the presence of a ghost woman who appears truly creepy, although she's really an actress playing the role. She's sending out a message to anyone breaking quarantine.
A similar thing has been happening in Java, where actors dressed as ghosts or "pecong" are employed to keep social distancing and not break lockdown rules.
Other countries, Singapore, the Philippines and Malaysia have been using this scary tactic to enforce their quarantines. It frightens people into staying indoors. Does it work? It might do but a number of people find it cool instead of scary.
Besides this, unknown paranormal activities have been happening a lot. To read about that, find "more people under quarantine are seeing ghosts" article, please visit the link at Mysterious Universe HERE.

Exotic animal ghosts of Britain

The British Isles has many ancient ruins and castles. A number of them are haunted. The most common ghostly sightings appear to resemble humans and ghouls. There are a lot of animal phantoms that resemble dogs, horses, cats, pigs and other domestic creatures that lived with humans. They often appear in former dwellings or in the grounds of where houses had once stood before. There have been numerous cases of ghost animals seen elsewhere or in the countryside! Graves are another place where spirits have been seen.

Animals not native to the British Isles have been witnessed and reported throughout the country. So what are these exotic ghosts then?

Old Martin. This is a ghost of a large grizzly bear that haunts the Tower of London. The last wild bears of Britain disappeared in the Middle Ages. The Tower of London is extremely haunted. More on the Tower of London ghosts in the near future.
Mystery British Big Cats. These include sightings of pumas, panthers, lions, cougars and lynxes all roaming the British countryside. None of them have ever been caught. Its as if they appear out of nowhere, then after being sighted, they vanish into thin air.
Wolves, Dogmen or Demon Dogs. These curiously wolflike creatures of large size have been seen throughout the British Isles, such as Cannock Chase and the Yorkshire Moors. Wolves have been extinct in Britain for over 300 years.
Gorillas. These have been sighted in the countrysides around near old buildings. Many names are attached to these creatures such as Wildman and Quickfoot.
Dragons or exotic reptiles. Adding to the ancient legends of dragons. Animals described as being "wyvern" and "dragon" are described as either large anaconda snakes, crocodiles and monitor lizards. They've been seen in the rivers, sea shore and lakes. Sometimes these animals have been seen swimming in those waters.

Many more exotic animal phantoms and spirits have been sighted in Britain. Another kind of exotic animal seen throughout the world are phantoms of extinct animals. That would make a topic for a future post. There are tons of ghosts of animals native to Britain. This too would have to be a separate and short post in the future.

Dragon Snake of Solomon Islands

The Solomon Islands are a group of six large islands with hundreds of many smaller islands and islets. Found in the Pacific Ocean, near Australia and Papua New Guinea. It's climate is very warm, tropical and rich in flora and fauna. The people that live there are diverse, artistic and sporty. However, this paradise is filled with strange supernatural activities from giants to UFO's. One such paranormal creature is called the Dragon Snake. It breathes fire, and has been witnessed.
It's said this creature is found in the mountains or at the beaches. It has a body described as humanoid, wings and a long tail with a pointed tip. It sounds typical of the dragons in myth. The Dragon Snake of the Solomon Islands has red eyes. The fire that it ejects from its mouth is in the form of a fireball, and this creature is active at nights.
The witnesses to the Dragon Snake have been fishermen as well as locals, but there was an engineer such as the witness who came across one and you can find this story in the link below.
Dragon Snake encounter
A cartographer from the Netherlands named Gerard de Jode made an atlas called "Mirror of the World" in 1593. It features illustrations on the atlas, with a map of New Guinea, and included on there are two flying dragons. To see this map go Here.
