Incubus and Craster

Some brave women have reported experiences of being raped and sexually asaulted by paranormal entities. Since time began, there are stories of such incidents. Women have been traumatised by the memories. The rapists would enter their chambers, unseen, and appear sometimes invisible. If seen, these rapists looked like ghosts or sinister enities. Stories of the incubus started in ancient times after these random things happened. Incubus are male entities who rape women when they're in bed. Female versions of the entity who assault sleeping men are called succubus.

Tales of vampires entering through the windows to suck the blood of their sleeping victims. Even today, women and men report something unseen getting into the bed, touching them, or even waking people up while touching them and no one is there.

In "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels, by George R. R. Martin, there is a man (wildling) who is the second most creepiest character after the Night King. His name is Craster. He lived in the dreary freezing far north, where he has a keep, animals, nineteen wives, most of who are his own adult daughters who get pregnant by him. All of the male babies born from Craster and his wives were sacrificed to the Night King so they turn into demon soldiers.

Are the incubus stories real? Some put it down to sleep paralysis, where a person is waking up and feels unable to move, that a weight is on their chests, causing fear, and visions of ghosts and scary figures in the form of ugly people and monsters appear inside the person's room. Often near the bed or under the blankets. The most frightening type of being who does this isn't a supernatural entity but a real person. It may be possible that incubus stories and experiences come from these sinister spirits of dead people who enjoyed assaulting others. Or it's just a fogment of ones imagination.
