The next full moon will appear on the 9th August. This will also be low on the horizon and looking brighter and bigger. It's called the sturgeon moon as it was named because of the Great Lakes during this season that was important for fishing. It has other names including Grain Moon, Lynx Moon, Lightning Moon, Corn Moon and Dispute Moon.
The Sturgeon Moon will rise in constellation Aquarius. This will be the day after Lion's Gate Portal, which is on the 8th August. The Lion's Gate Portal is about the present phase within Leo constellation, from 23 July to 22 August. However on the 8th August 2025 this will be a galactic new year, where there is a full cosmic alignment of the Sun, Sirius, Orion's Belt and Earth. Many observed this since ancient times as it's when powers are increased and the clear night sky is interesting. This is when the star Sirius is meant to be more powerful as it's light is enhanced by the Sun.
Star Sirius is also called the Dog Star. This is a strong period and many inclined to spirituality and astrology find it significant. This year's Lion's Gate Portal is like the numbers 8 triple. The full moon influenced by Dog Star magic is going to be a busy time for werewolves. According to much research, people are influenced by the full moon and it tends to be associated with aggression and lunacy.
