The Hull werewolf

The Old Stinker is a name for a certain legendary werewolf in Yorkshire. It's also called The Hull Werewolf. First encountered in the 18th century, this creature has been seen frequently up until modern times. It was called Old Stinker because of it's terrible nasty smell. Its breath was especially rotten. It was described as a bipedal canine and it stood 8 feet tall. It's got red eyes, vicious claws and razor sharp teeth. It's been able to run on all fours, giving the appearance of a huge dog with mange until it gets up on hind legs and scares anyone nearby.

There are many reports of Old Stinker the werewolf being witnessed but no one knows what it is. The last wild wolves of the British countryside went extinct in the 1500's although there have been countless sightings of wolves many times since then. While not seen in "packs" these individual creatures tend to appear alone and often in places that natural wolves shy away from, such as towns and cities, as true wolves keep away from humans.
