The Slide-Rock Bolter is a strange cryptid. First heard about in the 19th Century. Lumberjacks described a vast creature living in the Colorado mountains. It resembled an enormous fish with a huge head filled with razor sharp teeth, a fluked tail and grappling hooks. This large monster would slide down the mountain slopes with its mouth open, catching any victim that passed. It's believed many groups of people have been swallowed up by the monster this way. There aren't any known reports of this creature any longer. Some say that a park ranger killed it using gun powder and tricking the monster by using a scarecrow. Others say that the creature resembles a rock.
