Halloween trick treats for you

She Wolf Night presents you a "trick treat" that are visual pictures of scary sculptures made by two women who are horror artists.

"Broken ladies" is a set of beautiful, yet ghastly, figurines of Victorian ladies covered in blood. These were all handcrafted in ceramic by Jessica Harrison. She also created "Painted ladies" of vintage women all tattooed. There's a traditional charm in the style of romance and horror.

The elegant porcelain sculptures made by Maria Rubinke are just gruesome, worthy of video nasties. At the same time they're also beautiful as they feature cherubs covered in blood, creepy kids and many more cute monstrous macabre things. You can go check them out in the links provided.

Ghost girl Abigail

Although the short stories of ghost kids have discontinued for now, many deserve their own epic posts alone. Here is a remarkable true ghost story set in one of America's old haunted houses. A gothic house in Plymouth, Massachusetts, is home to a number of resident ghosts including former owner, James Spooner, who died in 1954, as well as a girl named Abigail. It's believed Abigail wears a long white dress and is a friendly ghost, who often appears looking through a window, rustles bushes in an alleyway and standing in various rooms to surprise people.

She says very little. Once she opened the front door and invited in a group of construction workers into the property. While they set about to work, the curator arrived and asked them how they got into the locked house. When they told him that a little girl let them in, he asked what little girl was this because there wasn't anyone else in the house. The workmen felt spooked enough to leave, taking their tools with them.

It's said also that Abigail lived in the house long ago in the late 18th century, or possibly early 19th century. She was the daughter of a fisherman who was lost at sea. Soon aged only 8 years old, she died of an infection from a severe toothache, but some accounts say that she might've been murdered by her own mother, who had always been abusive to the poor child. Ever since then her spirit has been seen inside the house. A next door neighbour woke up to find the ghost of Abigail in her room. Also the spirit of the former resident James Spooner has been actively playing his favourite music. Now the Spooner House is a museum.

Two stories of ghost children (part 3)

1. The yellow ghost boy of Knebworth House, which is a castle in Hertfordshire, England. While the grand house is haunted, one of the most legendary spirits is the one of a shining boy with golden hair, who only appears to forewarn people of certain events. He's said to show up and reveal ways that the eye witness may become lucky or for some he'll appear as an omen of death. People have been disturbed by him and unable to have a good night sleep. Although the house was built during Medieval times, there's evidence of a Bronze Age dwelling nearby.

2. Ghost girl made of flames. In the University of Montevallo, Alabama, it's believed to be haunted by a spirit of fire. It's said that this apparition looks like a young woman of flames, that runs down the corridors screaming, haunting the area of the dorms. Believed to be the ghost of a student named Condie Cunniham, who died tragically in a fire in 1908 while in her room at the university. After her death, Condie's spirit has been unable to rest and her face also keeps appearing on the room's door, no matter how often the door was replaced. Anyone who uses that room can sense her fiery and eerie presence.

That is all 3 part Ghost Children stories done. More spooky and weird posts to follow.

Two stories of ghost children (part 2)

1. Black eyed kid of Cannock Chase. Reports of a strange girl haunting the area of Cannock Chase was believed to be a victim of an evil monster serial killer named Raymond Morris, who murdered children during the 1960's. Many innocent victims were found buried in Cannock Chase, and their spirits still appear there to this day. It's unclear if there is a connection or that the mysterious ghost girl is one of the victims or something else entirely. It's been said that this ghost girl has empty black eyes, and could've been a poor murder victim who was blindfolded when she died. The ghost walks through the woods in Cannock Chase. For more on Cannock Chase visit Haunted Rooms page HERE...

2. Ghost boy of Clinton Road, is almost legendary in West Milford, New Jersey. It's believed that the spirit of a deceased boy lingers near there, and usually "lives" under the bridge. People have claimed that if you toss a coin over the bridge, the ghost boy will return it back to you! Many driving around there feel unsettled being there, especially at night. The ghost boy is mostly active at midnight! It's not known who he is or why he's there. The stream under the bridge is shining with coins from people dropping them in the hope to meet the ghost boy. For more about this and other mysteries to do with Clinton Road, check out this page at Weird N.J. site HERE.. More to come in part 3.

Two stories of ghost children (part 1)

1. Phantom railway children of San Antonio in Texas. It's been regarded as a haunted place by a crossing at a train track, not far from the San Juanita Mission. To get there, locate intersection of Villamain and Shane where the tracks pass through Shane Road. This area has been reported by witnesses as being haunted, by ghostly children who push cars to safety and leave handprints in powder. It's believed that the children are spirits of deceased school pupils that lost their lives tragically there in a terrible accident during the 1930's. Source found at Ghost City Tours page: HERE..

2. Girl ghost in a window appears of an old house in York, England. It's believed that she's the spirit of a child who was locked in her house with the corpses of her family, who all died of the Bubonic plague, and she was unable to get out. She kept going to the window and screamed for help but no one could hear or see, as the plague took so many lives. This poor girl survived the plague although she was trapped inside a locked house and eventually starved to death. Source for the plague ghost girl is at Ghost Keeper site: HERE...

More stories about ghost children will come in another post later on.

Cryptid news October

There's been a few updates about monsters and unknown creatures since I last posted about this. I will present them in paragraphs. This is going to make it tidy.

New photographs of strange activity coming from Loch Ness, posted online after the witness (a woman named Chie Kelly) reported seeing a creature in the water and took pictures. She felt reluctant to send them for a long time as she feared ridicule. There's been much excitement about this and I want to share it anyway:

Daily Record article HERE on woman photographing strange activity in Loch Ness.

Also there is another witness, a woman named Siobhan Janaway, who noticed a curious object moving at speed in the water. It happened at Foyer's Point near where Siobhan is a local resident in a town. She took a photograph and this can be viewed HERE at Mail Online.

It's emerged that a family were out enjoying a picnic at Dartmoor, at exactly Fernworthy Reservoir when they noticed a very large cat. They walked in the nearby woods and found a deer carcass that looked as if it had been eaten. Then this followed by a great roar sound, which scared the family and their pet dog. It's believed this area is haunted by a mysterious Big Cat.
