Echo mysteries

This is a place called the Centre of the Universe. It's a small circle inside a patterned concrete floor made of stones and bricks. Where is it? In Tulsa, Oklahoma. If you stand in the middle of the circle and make a noise, then it will echo very loudly. Only you will be able to hear it. That means anyone standing outside of the circle won't hear it! It isn't the only strange echoing anomaly. There is Lake George Mystery Spot in New York, which is a blue painting of a lake with metal lines across it. If you stand where the metal lines form a cross over the lake painting, and then you shout something, only YOU would be able to hear the echo. According to Native American legend, this exact area was visited by a god named Katchalototail who might've created this sound phenomena. Another odd echo sound effect is at a Mayan temple of Kukalcan, in Chichen Itza, Mexico. If you stand just outside of the temple facing the pyramid steps, clap your hands, and then you should hear the sounds of tweeting birds. Weird eh?

During the COVID-19 lockdown, one place has recently had some werewolf activity. This happened in a town called Coita in Chiapas, Mexico.
Reports came that a two metre tall creature of wolflike appearance seen by many local residents. They felt threatened by this creature that roamed their streets and even walked across rooftops. This werewolf was seen leaping three metres high over fences.
People managed to take photographs of its paw prints and claw marks. Recordings were made of its howls. Police were called into investigate and even those officers claimed to have witnessed the werewolf.

Spirit Bear

There is a species of bear called a Spirit Bear. In north America, there is a lot of bears of different types. The most common in north America are the Black Bear, Grizzly Bear and Polar Bear to the far north. There is another bear that hardly gets a mention because it's rarely seen. It's called the Karmode Bear because of it's white or cream coloured fur.
This Kermode Bears live in lush rain forests in Canada. It's a subspecies of Black Bear although they're definitely not polar bears or albinos. They're born light furred from Black Bear parents due to a recessive gene. Basically the Kermodes are the blonde offsping.
They like hunting for fish in the daylight. These lovely bears eat mostly fruit and plants most of the year but during Autumn their diet changes to eating fish. Their favourite fish is salmon. This means that the bones from salmon, left in the forests, feed into the soil and nourishes the trees.
Native American people have always included the Kermode Bears in their folklore and belief system. They call these kermode bears the "Spirit Bears". According to their legends, the Creator made the Spirit Bear to remind people of life during the Ice Age. Also the government of British Columbia has made the Spirit Bear as their official mammal symbol. I hope that bears are given far more protection and allowed to thrive happily in nature without being hunted.

Kasai Rex

What is this? The strange creature is a Kasai Rex. This is believed to be a giant reptile and a biped, with features very similar to a theropod dinosaur. A theropod is a subgroup of carnivore dinosaurs such as the tyrannosaurus and allosaurus. It's been reported to be witnessed in the Congo.
In 1932, a plantation owner and his employee had visited the Kasai Valley when they found a rhinoceros being attacked and then killed by a large reptile. The employee was frightened and ran away but the plantation owner watched in horror as the monster devoured the dead rhino. Later, the plantation owner was able to tell his story. He was called John Johanson, and described the big reptile as "red" in colour with "black stripes". The creature had many sharp teeth, thick legs and a long snout. It was about 13 m or 43 ft long. This Johanson witness had decided it must've been a tyrannosaurus.
The newspaper Rhodesia Herald reported the story and called the creature Kasai Rex.
A year later, an expedition of hunters went out looking for Kasai Rex, who were soon at the Kasai Valley swamp region. A "red tail" emerging from the water also made some believe it was a snake. Then tail thrashed with such violence that it sent one of the hunters was thrown into the murky water. Others were so scared that they began shooting at the vast moving redness seen through the water and plants. Their companion emerged from the water injured and afraid. They ran from the area when the creature left the water and roared, appearing to go after them.
In 1951 Robert Henderson went to the same place for a hunting trip with several people with him. None of them returned to the village alive. Only their remains were found in the same place that the Kasai Rex had been seen years before. Many have wondered if the creature was responsible for killing those men. The same one, or one of the same species that killed the rhinoceros?
Believers in cryptids (strange unknown cratures) think that the Kasai Rex would be more like the Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus or the Carcharodontosaurs saharicus as these were predators that lived in these parts of Africa.
Some believe it might be a lot of confusion with modern animals such as a Nile crocodile as these have been found in the country. It might be the strange Osteolaemus osborni or "dwarf crocodile". The only problem with that is the Kasai Rex was red in colour and large in size.
If this is a living dinosaur, then it's hidden very well. It uses the same cloaking magic as do other cryptids like Bigfoot and Dogman.

I hope you enjoyed reading this.
Stay well.
