Hello and welcome to She Wolf Night. This blog is mainly about the paranormal including ghosts, monsters, urban legends, UFO's and cryptids. We also cover subjects of folklore, myths and legends. I sometimes mention stories about the natural world. I base my posts on information from books, websites, articles and even historic records, which I always give links to. There will be some content that readers may find disturbing. Finally I will point out that this blog uses cookies.

Transformation
I've experienced the phenomena of transformation, or shape-shifitng. It isn't what you think. It doesn't involve pain or agony. It doesn't have to happen during a full moon. It doesn't need to be physical change from human to wolf. Yet what I've undergone is a shape-shift. That is what I call it - dunno about you.
REAL SHAPE SHIFTING doesn't simply happen overnight or within an hour, or as you see in horror films, minutes. It takes years. I'm not the same as I used to be before my transformation. I'm not even sure if I've completed full transformation yet. Shape shifting at it's truest sense can't be reversed. Once you've altered, you will never be the person you once were.
Basically I regardless of the shift, I look like a woman and not like a wolf but I'm not the same inside. What caused this wasn't the full moon. It was motherhood. Becoming a mother can do something to any woman's hormones, creating an imbalance, change of mood, and even different traits. I had this during pregnancy, from mood swings, weepiness, my belly swelling, hair changing colour, fuller breasts and the dreaded Pica habits. I used to eat lots of ice and mushrooms. I went off my usual favourite foods and drinks. It made me sick. I felt ill and couldn't wait for pregnancy to be done with. I looked forward to giving birth. When I gave birth I must've been screaming like a woman transforming into a werewolf.
I had my baby and then I changed again. I became paranoid and depressed. I was unsociable. I didn't want others near me or the baby. I was aggressive, like a She-Wolf mother, protective of her new pups.
A year later, it had been calm and subtle. Then I experienced a severe form of post natal illness called Puerperal Psychosis. I went through an emotional and physical ordeal but eventually, one year later, I recovered from this.
Other weird emotions happened, then passed. During these times, I was in communication with the dead and I could channel and do magic. I suddenly had a burst of artistic inspiration and expressed myself through art. Looking at the material now shows how ill or mad I was then. Then I became different again.People found me freaky and avoided me. I know that there is more stuff, really personal that I won't mention here but I understand that if others encountered me, they would've found me scary, mad or weird. Others told me they felt that I was "poorly" instead of being mad or anything else .

Success!
Here is the result of the forests campaign, the Government have decided not to go ahead with selling off our sacred forests. I'm really pleased about this. I want to thank those who've campaigned as well as thank the MP's for listening to us, especially my local MP who contacted me directly about this.

Predators in Your Backyard
"Predators in Your Backyard" is a TV documentary made by "Horizon" from the BBC. It features wolves in Yellowstone Park, panthers in Florida and bears in Italy. I understand the reintroduction of predators into the wilderness, as this programme outlines why. Yellowstone Park was turning barren because a large increased population of elk was stripping the land of plants and trees. They had to be culled somehow, but their natural predator, the wolf, was killed off by people 100 years ago. In the 1990's wolves were reintroduced to Yellowstone Park and now trees and forests are growing back. Certain other species of animal returned also and this landscape was transformed into a jewel of beauty. Wild predators make the land what it is.
Near end of the show, I would like to disagree on something and allow my voice to be read.
It was about a certain breed of wild horses, starving in North America because there are too many of them. Their natural predator, the smilodon or sabre-toothed cat, no longer exists. They suggested that they could introduce the African lion into this North American landscape to cull the horses because lions hunt zebras!
I really disagree with this idea because I think it's wrong of us to play with nature like that. These horses are dying as a breed because of nature and it isn't the fault of human as it was about wolves, panthers and bears. Nature is deciding that these horse will soon fade. By humans placing a new animal (the Saharan lion) into a different continent means that humans are not thinking of the consequences doing this. It may cause problems for the wilderness. People are surely interfering with nature again by doing that?

Also information that March stone was a Bloodstone.
For those born in March, it is often considered a lucky charm if wearing Aquamarine or Bloodstone to represent their birth month. Some would consider that the birthstone doesn't fall into place with the zodiac. The birthstone is a seperate element and has different meanings, while the zodiac is shaped by the stars.
The "Aquamarine Wolf" and "Bloodstone Wolf" is a birth totem for people who were born in the month of March, whether they are Pisces (February 19 - March 20) or Aries (March 20 - April 20).
March born Pisces people are lucid but edgy.
March born Aries people are passionate but fluffy.
March is a period of Winter's end and the arrival of Spring. It's a time of the Spring equinox when daylight hours change, and the sunlight grows bigger and longer in the day.
The month "March" was named after the Roman god of war, Mars yet it was once called Martius by the Romans as it was considered the first month of the year. In the Gregorian calendar it's the third month of the year, when Spring begins, and more flowers appear in abundance.
Hibernating animals wake up. The Spring begins in March and flowers start to appear. This is when the sun lingers and days start to get longer. It's the month of celebrating the ancient tradition we now know called Ostara a feast of the goddess Ostara.
